Annual Breeders Championship
|

Since 1999, Strood & District Aquarist Society has run a Breeders
Championship. The aim has been to actively promote the breeding and raising of
all species of tropical and coldwater fish. See the results below. |

During 2005, there were 28 entries in the championship. A total of 76 different
species have now been entered.

Breeding Championship Rules |
-
Breeders Team.
-
Entries will be SIX fish from one spawning.

The team to be at least 6 weeks of age and no more than 12 months at time of
showing.

Fry should be reasonably identifiable.

Teams to be shown on any club night in the correct manner.

If possible, both sexes should be exhibited.

Date of birth required.
-
FIVE bonus points will be awarded if the parent fish are shown.

The species must have been spawned in the member’s own tank. Hatching of eggs
or rearing of fry from other sources is not permitted.

Breeders points will be awarded as per the secretary's list.

Each species will count once per annum, but may be re spawned for subsequent
years.
-
Last night for entries to qualify for that year is the December club meeting.
-
All entries will be given award cards.
