Strood Open Show
22 April 2007
Our show on the 22nd of April was held at the usual venue of The Memorial Hall Cliffe. As far as the weather was concerned, we could not have wished for better. It was so good that some people took advantage of it and went out on the marsh just down the road to collect Daphnia. Benching was completed by mid day and a total of 336 entries were ready for the judges. Details of the class placings can be found here but congratulations to Championship class winners Roy Bryan of Corby (Class Da) and Roy Chapman of S.L.A.D.A.S. (Class P). Best in show was a Puntius sp.Odessa owned by TDC of Leicester. Reserves being Ron Baldock (Strood) and TDC.
